I'm famous! I attended an exercise class tuesday night that i hadn't heard of before: bosu. It stands for "both sides utilized" and personally i think it sucks. i left halfway through because i didn't think i was working anything out except falling off the ball. it was an insane step class on a ball. i find step classes extremely difficult for my level of coordination, but put it on top of a half ball and its horrible. my boss got a bosu for christmas so i thought i'd try it out.
this class went wrong for 3 reasons:
1) found out half way through that you were supposed to pay/sign up for the class. a girl came a little late, teacher saw there weren't any free balls, yells "who didn't pay?" and my little hand shoots up
2) photographer for k-state newspaper, the collegian, came in to take photos. she asked if anyone didn't want their picture taken and there was a strong "no" that echoed in my head, but didn't want to be neurotic. this is how i came to be featured in wednesday's edition under the title "bosu gains favor". how ironic because i definitely loved it
3) left class shortly after the photographer left. just grabbed my half ball and left
i do love to change up my workout routine, but not for bosu. i'm much more of a runner, pilates, weights person. not so much a ball jumper. tomorrow: try rep revolution
