So this Saturday I will be running the 5k at the Hospital Hill Run in Kansas City. I can only hope at this point that I will survive the hilly run. My goal is to finish so that I can wear my "big medal" and eat chris cakes as promised on the race website. Anyone who wants to cheer me on is more than welcome starting at 7am this Saturday!
My completion of the race means that I can now wear my medal around the house, like my dad has done for so many marathons now, complaining about how heavy it is so that people will pay more attention to me.
